Bailey and Joel, Florida Yacht Wedding

When I got the text from Joel that he wanted me to photograph their wedding, I was beyond excited to capture such a day. It so happens that I photographed his sister Phoebe’s wedding in Illinois the year before and in a few months I’ll photograph his brother Jared’s wedding right outside of St. Louis. I absolutely love when I get to photograph families throughout the years. It’s such a privilege to not only photograph one day for a family, but to keep getting hired by the same crew is so flattering. To watch as families continue to grow is such a beautiful thing to be a part of and knowing how much they trust me to document these days for the family is so sweet. 

This weekend in Florida with Bailey and Joel was dreamy. The palm trees waved in the wind as we had a bonfire on the beach the night before the big day. Their wedding day was so cloudy (CLOUDY DAYS BE MY FAV) and it brought the evening at sea to a whole new level. The vibes of the day were perfect and cozy. It was so much fun to photograph and a blast to party together on that big ol’ yacht.
